Farmers need dynamic information relating to agriculture and rural development. Reuters Market Light (RML) offers information services via mobile phone-based Short Message Service (SMS) primarily aimed at satisfying the information needs of farmers. The study was carried out in the Erode district of Tamil Nadu state. The results revealed that three-fourths of the respondents had medium degree of RML information utilization behaviour and farm size had a negative and significant relationship with RML information utilization behavior.References
